i brought you... this... toasty cheese sandwich...
with red onions and tomatoes...
(i made it myself)
and a blueberry muffin...
a cherry coke...
one colorful candy necklace...
a coupla' flowers i picked out of the garden...
(tigerlilies i think)
and one flouncy white skirt...
it was perfect weather...
for skirts and t-shirts
and flipflops...
i kept driving when i saw
that you'd already run away for 30 days...
i tossed it out the window
by our sand-filled, sea-shelled
midnight bike-ride beach...
and finally said goodbye.
